Waiting for spring to come back

Ugh. Springtime in Albuquerque is not the highlight of the year like it is in Austin. I sure do miss blue bonnets and thunderstorms. Everyone warned us April is the worst month of the year here, and after only half a day in, I can see it's probably true. Windy, gray, and cold. Winter was way better. Jamie was excited to do something fun this weekend since he's been out of town for the past two, and he looked at the forecast and groaned. No day with wind speeds under 15 mph for the next 10 days. Too windy to even fly Jo's new kite. I hope Easter is decent. I want to take Jo to an egg hunt in her cute new dress and get nice pics.
