Baby Update

Jo accompanied me to the first of many OB appts in our future. She doesn't know that she's got a little brother or sister on the way, and even if we told her, I doubt she'd understand what that meant. But she does love to go to a doctor's office. The whole time she was telling me to lay down on the bed. When they got out the doppler to hear the heart beat (baby is still too low, we just heard it moving), the assistant held her up so she could watch. She liked that, and brought it up a few times that afternoon. Overall she did really well, despite it being during nap time. She's in for a treat because I go to the eye doctor next week, and she'll have to tag along for that as well. And then we have the 1st trimester screening at the perinatologist's right before our Austin trip. That's when she'll probably learn there's a baby on the way.
